The Musings of a Rotting Central Florida Fruit

Tomorrow, the Lake County Commission is set to approve the 2030 Horizon Comprehensive Plan, which basically strips away landowners’ property rights.  Not all left-wing, socialist zealots are in Washington D.C. – there may be two or three in Lake County government in Tavares.  Don’t let them close our family farms!

The Illegal Drug Dealers Association of Leesburg has issued a proclamation thanking the City of Leesburg for their new bike paths.  The new paths allow for quick delivery and easy avoidance of the police.  They see them as a real boost for serving the students at Leesburg High School.

On Tuesday, May 25, 2010, the Lake County Board of County Commissioners will once-and-for-all decide the fate of the made up Rural Protection Area, which is just south of Clermont.  The no-growth zealots seek to declare this area as protected land, which will devalue everyone’s property to almost nothing.  If approved, it should be renamed “Rural Poverty Area.”
