The Sour Orange

Last Christmas Eve, Santa Claus was hungry.  He ate half the turkey and most of the stuffing so Mama is in charge of feeding Santa this year instead of Daddy.

The Democrat Congress has a 13% approval rating which is below lawyers and car dealers, and about 3 points higher than terrorist.  It would be zero if those 13% knew what the word meant.

Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer got a job at the Lake County School Board this year.  To keep his job he had turn his nose brown.

Lake County Commissioners are thinking about putting the County Attorney as County Manager.  A politician putting an attorney in charge reminds me of an Alabama wedding – keeping it in the family.

In January, everyone’s Social Security taxes are going to be lowered 2%.  So you will get a raise now and benefit cut later.  I sure hope I like the taste of dog food when I am 65.

My wife is one of the few people who actually loves and eats fruitcake. I guess that explains why she married me.

Santa Claus is coming to town next week. The way things look for me, he’ll pass right over my house. No, this isn’t the religious holiday of Passover, you ding dong, it’s a celebration of being poor.
