I am celebrating New Year’s Eve tonight with the people of London, England so I can be in bed by 9:00 p.m.

The Iowa caucuses begin in just a few days, or better know as the end of the President Obama administration.

Thursday is the saints versus sinners bowl game when Notre Dame takes on Florida State in the Champs Sports Bowl. I expect evil to easily win – go Noles!

I’m in a mid-holiday haze – I’ve eaten so much that I’m food drunk. The signs of food intoxication are swollen belly, gassed charged intestines, and acid reflux while sitting in your favorite chair. For rehabilitation, you have to go to the Betty Crocker Clinic.

Maybe the reason Tim Tebow is doing okay in the NFL is that he knows football is not the most important thing in life. Some Gator fans should think about that message.

I think it’s a female ritual to return every piece of clothing they receive for Christmas the following day. It’s amazing how tight a pair of designer jeans will get after two pies, six pounds of candy, and three bottles of white wine.

Parents, how you act and how you treat your children today will be remembered for a lifetime. Don’t make booze or drugs the focus of your Christmas – put the focus on your children. Remember Christmas is a day for hope, peace and love.
