To my Democrat friends, don’t think Obama has got this election sewed up. Don’t forget in 2008, America elected a community organizer who was a socialist with a questionable background and only two years of experience. That election proves anyone can win.

Can you believe there are still some county commissioners who want to waste- oops spend- money on an Emergency Operations Center? The real emergency is that Lake County can’t afford this boondoggle with a budget hemorrhaging red ink.

The Lake County School Board needs to figure out that “passing the buck” is not making a decision. These days, I guess that’s the only thing they can pass, so they keep doing it.

I smell gas fumes, burnt rubber and stale cigarettes mixed with beer.  That
can mean only one thing - the Daytona 500 is next week.  Let's go racing!

Today, I am going to Mardi Gras in downtown Leesburg.  Hopefully, the ladies
will throw me some beads without me having to show them my peel.

My old, drunk Uncle Willie claims he is a miracle worker that can turn wine

blood suckers will be like flying hypodermic needles.
